Even if this might be boring for some of my followers, I will post next week some photos whith these little birds. I love them.
But, I’m a bit sad. Now we don’t have snow, and when we don’t have snow they stay on fields eating seeds so they don’t come in our yard.
I really want some snow.
I’m sure I will. They’re one of my favourites and I’m lucky enough to have good numbers of them in the fields around my village. One even visited my garden a few years ago. I shall look forward to the next ones.
These portraits are lovely, Cornel. Beautiful and instructive–I see them not only as art in themselves and technically magnificent, but also as a tool. I used to be a wildlife illustrator once, and I would have loved to have such detailed photos to use as references for handpainted artwork. You are doing a great job with this. Your work grows more beautiful every day.
Beautiful plumage detail, and lovely lighting!

I’ve run out of superlatives now. Wonderful series of shots, I’ve really enjoyed them!
Next week I will post some new photos with these birds. I hope you will like them also.
Thank you for your kind words.

I would never have guessed that you like these birds if you hadn’t told us.
This is one reason why I like your posts with birds photos so much.
But, to be honest, you have more good photos than me.
You are most kind. It is easy to snap birds when you have a feeder right outside your window and a good camera in your hand.
