Today I decided to show you a mineral, a semiprecious stone called Lapis Lazuli. This stone is well know for it’s beautiful colour, a deep blue.
If you want to obtain one of the most beautiful but also expensive of all blue pigments, you have to use a special recipe and ground this stone to powder.

Next time:
Have a beautiful week!
(I said beautiful, not easy.)
I hope that you share some of your paintings with us in the future to show us how you put these beautiful colors to use.
This is an exquisite shade of blue, Cornell. I think the powder illustrates it particularly well.
